Privacy
This is what we process about you, why, and for how long. It is short, because we know little about you: no account, no e-mail address, no third-party cookies. The controller is Alcis B.V.; its details are on the About us page.
A free comparison is not stored.
Your postcode (or just your grid operator or province), yearly consumption, meter, feed-in and preferences are used to work out the answer. Then they are gone: they are written nowhere. We never ask for your house number.
A bought report is kept for seven days.
If you pay for a report, we keep the same inputs and the result under a random link, so we can show it with today's prices for seven days. After that the report is deleted overnight. The report comes with an order reference, Mollie's payment reference, the payment method and the moment you asked for immediate delivery. That sales record is kept for seven years, because tax law requires it of a business administration.
Payment goes through Mollie.
Mollie B.V. processes the payment as an independent controller: we never see your name or account number. We receive the payment status and the country of your bank or card, which we need for VAT. Mollie has its own privacy statement.
Refunds and a lost link: by order reference.
To ask for a refund or a new link, you use the order reference on your bank statement and the day you paid. The reason you pick and any note you add are kept with the sale, together with what was done.
The server keeps a short log of requests.
Like every website we log requests: IP address, time, page and status, no content, to spot abuse and find faults. Report links are masked in the log. The logs are overwritten automatically and so last only a few days.
One functional cookie, no tracking.
If you choose a language, we remember it in a cookie for a year. We set no other cookies. The chat on the site keeps your answers in your own browser until you are done, so you can continue after paying; we do not keep them. There are no analytics, no pixels and no third-party scripts.
Over WhatsApp, the conversation runs through Meta.
If you use the chat over WhatsApp, Meta processes the messages as a processor under the WhatsApp Business terms; part of that happens in the United States, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We do not keep your phone number: the conversation lives thirty minutes in the server's memory and the result is the same link as on the site.
Your rights: access, erasure, objection.
Because we know you only by your order reference, we handle a request with it: we can expire your report at once; the sales record we must keep as long as tax law requires. Write to the address on the About us page. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can turn to the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, the Dutch data protection authority.
No profiles, no automated decisions.
