The service

We compare energy contracts for consumers on the total yearly cost for your consumption, lowest first. No supplier pays us, neither for a place in the ranking nor per switch; paid placement does not exist here. How we rank is on the page How we rank, reachable from every ranking, which forms part of these terms. We retrieve the tariffs from the suppliers daily; each contract shows when.

Ordering and paying

You order a comparison by entering your details and paying. The price is shown at the payment step, VAT included; the standard price is € 2.99, during a promotion it can be € 0 and then you pay nothing. Payment goes through our payment provider Mollie with the methods shown there. After paying you get your comparison at once: per contract type the three cheapest contracts for your situation, as a web page under a link of its own. The link works for seven days and recalculates with the prices of the moment each time it is opened. Your order reference is on your receipt and on your bank statement; with it you can ask for a lost link again on the page Lost your link.

Right of withdrawal and refunds

As a consumer you may withdraw from a distance purchase within fourteen days. A comparison is digital content we deliver at once: when paying you ask for immediate delivery and acknowledge that you thereby give up your right of withdrawal once the comparison is delivered (article 6:230p under g of the Dutch Civil Code). Against that stands our own promise, which goes further: if the comparison does not match what you entered, or the link does not work, you get the full amount back within fourteen days of payment, once per order, through the Refund page with your order reference. The money returns to the account you paid from.

What you may expect

The comparison is based on what you entered and on the tariffs, taxes and grid charges as published on the retrieval date; that date is shown. It is a calculation, not an offer: you conclude the contract with the supplier itself, and its own offer at that moment governs. Prices change; that is why your link recalculates each time it is opened. If there is an error in our calculation, we correct it and make your comparison again at no cost.

Liability

Our liability for damage from an order is limited to the amount you paid for that comparison, except in case of intent or deliberate recklessness on our part. We are not liable when a supplier changes its price, withdraws an offer or does not accept you as a customer. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer by law.

Privacy

How we handle your data is in our privacy statement. In short: no account, no e-mail address, no third-party cookies. We keep a comparison for seven days under your link; the sales record for as long as tax law requires.

Complaints and disputes

If something is not right, e-mail us with your order reference; you get an answer within five working days. If we cannot settle it together, Dutch law applies and the Dutch court that is competent for consumers by law decides.

Changes

We may change these terms. For an order the version on this page at that moment applies; every version has a number and a date.
